i had an urge to paint only using red colors. so i painted a sky, yet when doing the black clouds, i used my mother's old paints from the eighties. so it was sticky & a bit dried out. i couldn't flatten it, and instead it stuck out. however, i liked this and had the idea to do an opposite sky scene and create clouds that stick out. except i used newer paints for this and had to use molding or something.

also, after seeing hatchimitsu to clover (honey&clover, the movie) in japan last summer i've been wanting to do paintings that have parts that've dripped.

i used oil pastels for the sun.

oh, this one was really cool. but i must say, at the small-size-view the ripple things looked more interesting than on the full-view. anyhow cool idea!
